Invitation for Feedback on Revisions to Alberta Energy Regulator Directive 050

The Alberta Energy Regulator is seeking feedback on updates to Directive 050: Drilling Waste Management. The proposed changes reduce the regulatory burden throughout the life cycle of drilling waste management without compromising safety.  

Feedback will be accepted until January 7, 2022.

Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Shares Details of Mitigation Plan for Future Open Pit Mine in Caribou Range

During a recent public hearing regarding the future Point Lake open pit mine in the Northwest Territories, the Arctic Canadian Diamond Company declared intent to ensure the project does not negatively impact caribou migration.
