This article in Canadian Reclamation (Issue 1, Vol 12, pages 10-13) describes the wellsite clay pad removal and inversion technique applied by the NAIT Centre for Boreal Research in a peatland restoration pilot project. This project aimed to restore hydrological functionality of the disturbed site and peat accumulating characteristics of the surrounding poor fen. This project was conducted in collaboration with Laval university, Incremental Forest Technologies and Shell Canada.
