Resource Type
Method Suitability Tables are intended to help the user compare boreal caribou methods to each other. Method suitability table 1: Selecting a monitoring method that suits your objectives provides an overview of the boreal caribou population parameters (columns) which can be measured by the different field methods (rows).
When using this table, please note:
- Checkmark scores are relative (as opposed to absolute), and only consider the methods in the table.
- There is one more Method Suitability Table in the boreal caribou monitoring toolkit. Be sure to view Suitability table 2- Comparing suitability and requirements of monitoring methods.
- These tables are meant to be used in combination with the other tools in the toolkit. Be sure to view the rest of the Boreal Caribou Monitoring Toolkit for more resources.
