Dear Great Lakes community:
You're invited to attend this week-long, five-part webinar series focused on assessing and enhancing the resilience of Great Lakes coastal wetlands. The series is being hosted by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).
Over the past four years, ECCC has completed a novel climate change vulnerability assessment of coastal wetlands and is excited to share the findings from this assessment, along with adaptation strategies and possible implementation options for enhancing coastal wetland resilience.
The webinar series is open to members of the public. The first two webinars will focus on sharing the results of the climate change vulnerability assessment. The last three webinars will showcase six adaptation strategies and examples of adaptation from across the Great Lakes Basin.
