The B.C. Wildlife Federation’s Wetlands Education Program is returning this November for the Wetlands Institute: Virtual Speaker Series! This year’s theme is “Secret Wonders of Wetlands,” and will delve into the little-seen life of the beaver, the ubiquitous world of bryophytes (moss!), and the delightful night-lives of bats. Together, these three s pecies make up some of the vital building-blocks of wetland health and ecology.

On November 15 th at 6pm PST, the great Dr. Line Rochefort, Professor at Universite de Laval, will join us to talk about the little-understood benefits of bryophytes and the amazing things they do for us and the wetlands across Canada!
