SALMTEC GVI Blended Course

Planning on conducting Grassland Conservation Assessments in Alberta? Then you will need a thorough understanding of the Grassland Vegetation Inventory (GVI). Through hands on activities and examples presented in instructional videos, this course provides participants with both a contextual and practical understanding of GVI using various real world management scenarios.

This course has four learning modules and consists of online, offline and interactive components, as follows:

• Three to four online instruction videos per module
• An online quiz per instruction video
• Four offline activities
• A 2-hour online interactive class
• A final online exam

The course takes approximately 8 hours to complete and must be finished by April 2025.
