Many years experience working in areas related to forests and natural resources management including forest ecology and silviculture, teaching, research; conservation initiatives, community-based research, advocacy for forest tenure to enable community forestry, work on behalf of First Nations in northern Ontario and BC relating to forestry, land use planning, environmental policy, environmental/impact assessment and species at risk (caribou monitoring)
Academic research and teaching: currently teaching Traditional Ecological Knowledge for Indigenous Studies & Geography/Environment students at Mount Allison University, NB
